Working in education is a very hard job
Written by Lead Receptionist (Current Employee) from Houston, TX on July 5, 2018
A typical day at work will include but not limited to; answering phones, assisting parents, assisting budget clerk, attendance clerk, admin assistant as well as registrar, teachers and principal. I learned how to multi-task and stay with the flow of work for the day to be on time with deadlines. Management from the district level is sometimes very stressful - more... last minute changes are always happening and makes the work environment stressful and lacks of communication at a school level very concerning. Hardest part of the job is the amount of work for the pay we receive from the company. - less
ProsSteady schedule, holidays off
ConsCommunication district wide, dealing with rude parents, quick paced enviroment
