Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INNovember 24, 2018
I really liked working here. Everyone was noce and considerate. When i would move up in the ranks and have more stuff to do they never seemed like training me for new positions was a hassle.

Intake Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INNovember 1, 2018
Busy Call Center Environment taking calls and starting cases for precert for surgeries and inpatient admissions. I enjoyed starting process for cases. Other duties were also assigned in-between calls which made the job a little overwhelming along with answering the phones. Management was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
Pros
Opportunity for advancement
Cons
Too many people that want to be in charge

Developer/Analyst (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INAugust 24, 2018
IMG is very average. No one knows what it is you do so you get stuck and under appreciated. They hire out consultants rather than promote or train. HR policies are out dated. PTO is not competitive. Pay is middle of the road. It is very average and kind of boring but its a job.
Pros
Autonomy, Benefit prices
Cons
No advancement opportunities, pay raises are non existant, new hires will be paid more than you, spouses exempt from benefits

Cool place to work
Claims Examiner (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJuly 27, 2018
A really nice, diverse place to work. I learned a lot here under great management. I appreciate the opportunity that were given. I liked that they incorporated outings to keep up moral because work can be stressful at times. And also to make sure everyone can meet each other from different departments.

IMG is a great place to work. I tell everyone to work there. The location is great. The pay is great. The people that work for the company are great. There is a restaurant in the building.

Lot of Politics
Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJune 6, 2018
There is a lot of politics at IMG just like there is at a lot of other big companies. If you are in the in crowd then job security is secured, but if you are not then job security is not guaranteed.
Pros
Great Benefits decent pay

The company has great benefits but the management in my area was cut throat. The manager cusses you out in group meetings without blinking an eye and HR will defend them.

Review for International Medical Group
Global Underwriting Assistant (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INMarch 1, 2018
A typical day of work would be pretty much the same day as from before.

I did learn new things while I was there. The company does like to cross train people.

Work Culture- Variety of people. Holiday parties and a company picnic.

Hardest- No hard parts

Enjoyable part of the job- learning new things to be able to grow in the company.

great pay for a terrible job.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJuly 12, 2017
This job was a killer. The management and people were all great to be honest. But the actual job of being on the phone with people who were having issues with their travel insurance? Super anxiety inducing and stressful. If you could handle VERY high stress, VERY fast paced work environment, then this would be a job for you.
Pros
supportive management and coworkers, pleasant building, good pay
Cons
high stress and fast pace.

Certified Case Manager I and II (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJanuary 25, 2017
The hardest part of the job was the after hours on call work. In addition to the after hours responsibilities, the follow up for each of those cases had to be managed in additional to routine productivity expectations for ongoing week day responsibilities.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJanuary 20, 2017
Relaxed atmosphere. Very few quota requirements; only service goals. The supervisor cares for the workers' well being, as opposed to focusing on impossible quotas.

International Claims (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJanuary 15, 2016
Management does much talking, little action. Middle managers exhibit difficult (and frequently unstable) personalities. Training program is substandard, expectations undefined, and software systems broken.

Medical Concierge (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INSeptember 15, 2015
Assist customers with accessing the full benefit from their health plan. Perform cost comparisons for all procedures. Set up authorizations through Dynamo for surgical procedures. Contact physician offices for medical records and start precertification for the insured. Verify networks status and benefits through third party payers. Utilized outlook, excel, and Microsoft word. Review daily report for requested services for insureds.

Glass Ceiling's with Tyrannical and Insecure Management
Claims (Former Employee) –  IndianapolisJuly 6, 2015
There are slave plantations and then there is the IMG Claims Department. Worst leadership experience in life. VP of claims always claimed she "knew black people", primarily because she dated one. When he ticked her off, the sista's in the department had to watch out... She would use fear and threat of termination as a method of silencing the employees. No chance for advancement UNLESS you have blond hair and blue eyes. Typical day was come in and put your head down. Don't spend too much time getting coffee or going to the bathroom. Very oppressive environment and not for those who are educated and like to think.
Pros
Used to give great Christmas bonuses
Cons
Personal feelings into their style of management, No job security!!!
