You get great benefits (medical, dental, etc.), and great experience, but the pay isn't good. Typically under staffed as well, so there is a high rate of burnout. There's also a lack of emphasis placed on staff development. Staff are typically tossed in the deep-end of the pool to sink or swim. If you're a self-reliant individual, you'll most likely - more... do well. If you require a lot of hand-holding however, this is probably not the job for you. - less
