Great work environment. Everyone's heart is in the right place. You have to have compassion and empathy, most refugees come from very harsh environments.

The office culture at the IRC is great. It's very collaborative and staff tend to be quite close. The work is hard and can be stressful, but is ultimately rewarding.

I like to work for the IRC because it offer a challenging and rewarding environment. The combination of diverse staff and great management team makes a thriving and fun environment for all. The staff works as a family rather than co-workers and they always assist each other to address the needs of clients.
