Pay is way too low when compared to pay of similar corporations in Omaha, which is a major midwestern metropolitan area. We have 4 Fortune 500 businesses. We are not a small town.

Billers are slow the first 2 weeks of the month and consistently busy the last 2 weeks. No OT so get your work done or ask for help. Offer to help others when not busy. Mgmt treats billers like individuals with respect and gratefulness. Not another number.

I love my super and coworkers. I usually am consistently busy as a production billing associate in Omaha. We rarely talk to our customers (advertising agencies across the country and Canada), but we still build rapport with them via email and Skype. I have been working just over 10 months and am still learning every day on the job.

Professional office environment with casual dress (jeans, sneakers). Culture stresses team when it comes to workload. Ask for help when you need it; offer help when you're not busy. More PTO than I've had anywhere in Omaha - 11 days during my first 7 months. Same with holidays - 2 bank holidays & 4 extra summer days in addition to the usual 6 holidays + day after Thanksgiving and Christmas eve. Mgmt is all about fun and appreciation. Pay is low in comparison to similar Omaha businesses. OT is strongly discouraged, and your manager will watch your hours closely so you don't work OT.

I have no problem telling anyone that I work at Interpublic, but no one's heard of the company. I explain that we in Omaha support our NY home office and 100 ad agencies all over the world, so they won't hear about IPG unless we're involved in a community service project.
