Everyone was very friendly and work with you as you learn. The managers keep the schedules in check and give yo feedback on your work. The staff there is quite helpful with any questions.

High Expectations, Low Compensation

Staff Engineer (Current Employee) – Seattle, WA – November 10, 2018

Quoting the HR Department, "The 40 hour work week is dead." The work expectations are high, the management states 50 hours is the expected minimum, you can have about 85% of your weekends off, and time after 40 will not be compensated. If you work as a staff engineer or project manager expect to spend all your time in the field with no chance of advancement. Working as a technician is far superior to working as a salaried employee, you'll be treated well if you're a tech.

Productive place

Great company and the pace is work is very fast. My farmington hills office has been very helpful to me in every step. Teamwork is essential because they'll send you to different locations. This job includes a lot of driving.

Typical day at work starts as early as 5:30 am if you’re assigned to a permanent project, most of the time you can set your schedule unless you have time sensitive tests and inspections to carry out,
It’s somewhat of a dirty and physical job as you’re testing concrete and climbing ladders but it’s fun

lots of work during the summer so 10+ hour days are common concrete techs may push 12 hour days weekend work is a given and some out of town can and maybe offered.
