Overall easy but lack of communication and favoritism
Registered Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Bowling Green, KYApril 6, 2018
At first it was fun and easy. It lacks leadership and management plays favoritism. Some employees are allowed to do little work, while the rest is made to do all the work. Some employees are constantly late. There is no team work. Management wants to write you up but not face you to answer questions. I would not recommend this work place.
Pros
Free lunches
Cons
Horrible leadership, not adequate raises, favoritism

This was a great place to work and most people don't leave. The pay is great and the benefits were great as well. I would work there again. I would recommend working there.

Extremely Stressful and back stabbing
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Edgewood, KYJanuary 24, 2018
Working here taught me a couple important life lessons! First being always watch your back because there is someone out there that is intimidated by your confidence in knowing how to do your job well. Second, suck up to your boss or have a family member work in the office as well so you know you'll always have job security.
How the schedule works there is extremely fast paced which is good but the lack of training and help from other employees is very minimal! While working in my section of the office there where zero breaks except for the 30-45mins for lunch and that only came when your schedule for the morning was complete. So if you ran into issues which are very common, you might not even get a lunch break! The other MA's that I worked with would walk right out for their hour plus long break without even asking if anyone needs help! To me that is very disrespectful!

Excellent for unexperienced
Insurance Verifier (Former Employee) –  Pasadena, TXMay 10, 2017
A typical workday consisted of gathering all patients who were scheduled for that day and verifying their insurances before their appointment times. Also took prescriptions for topical analgesic creams and called them into the pharmacy. Management was a bit unprofessional at times, but the physician who owned the place was amazing. The hardest part of the job was dealing with coworkers who did not want to be there and complained everyday about their job or the people they had to work with.

Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) –  Houston, TX 77089May 8, 2017
this is not a bad place to work. If you stay out of the office politics and to come ready to work, you'll do fine. Whatever department you work in, there is never a shortage of things to do.
Pros
Rep breakfasts and lunches, closed weekends, layed back
Cons
losts of rude patients, some lazy staff, can feel unappreciated by management

There's no sense of order. Lacks a chain of command. Rules are overly laxed. no structure or accountability. And lacks repercussions for negative actions.
Pros
It has generous vacation time, Flexible schedules. And very good pay.

Employees there are hypocrites.
Front Desk Clerk (Former Employee) –  Pasadena, TXJanuary 21, 2017
Everyone there talk about one another. The girls at the front desk give out wrong scripts to patients and then try to cover for one onther. Mangers themselves don't know how to keep stuff private. They don't value their employees. Employees go have a drink when on the clock. But yet the managers think they know what the employees do all the time. I can go on and on, but beware if ever what to work at this place, cuz left to right people stab you in the back.
Cons
The pay sucks

A very fast paced but fun job. Seeing so many patients a day make the work day go by super fast. The providers are what have kept me at this job for so long. They are so awesome to work with.

Medical Assistant- Front End (Former Employee) –  Pasadena, TXMarch 20, 2014
Rooming anywhere from 50-180 patients daily while checking them in, rooming and receiving vital signs. Everyday was a task to maintain patient flow and know which doctor each patient was there to see. The work was done in a timely matter and overall I loved the fast work pace.

Marketing Intern (Former Employee) –  Bowling Green, KYDecember 19, 2013
With a welcoming employees this comapny makes any employee feel at home. With exceptional bonuses, gifts and personalities, this job makes coming to work everyday an ease. The management is very helpful to beginners along the way and helps to show you the rope. They then encourage you to learn the necessities and be able to find what needs to be done on your own. They teach you how to become and self starter while being an important asset to the overall team.
