Medical Assistant (Former Employee) – Naperville, IL – November 11, 2018
Great Dr to work for, lots of free lunches & coffees from drug reps, small office staff, great patients, very lenient attendance policy, fast paced environment, paid holidays, all weekends off, drawbacks were there is no human resource department, and little to no room to advance your position in the company.
Insurance Specialist (Current Employee) – Bowling Green, KY – September 25, 2018
Management is terrible unless you enjoy working for someone who is curt, rude, and cold. The same 2 to 3 people make all of the decisions, and you can tell. One hand has no idea what the other is doing, and some of them need to stay out of the day to day management and let others thrive.
Overall easy but lack of communication and favoritism
Registered Medical Assistant (Former Employee) – Bowling Green, KY – April 6, 2018
At first it was fun and easy. It lacks leadership and management plays favoritism. Some employees are allowed to do little work, while the rest is made to do all the work. Some employees are constantly late. There is no team work. Management wants to write you up but not face you to answer questions. I would not recommend this work place.
Horrible leadership, not adequate raises, favoritism
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) – Edgewood, KY – January 24, 2018
Working here taught me a couple important life lessons! First being always watch your back because there is someone out there that is intimidated by your confidence in knowing how to do your job well. Second, suck up to your boss or have a family member work in the office as well so you know you'll always have job security. How the schedule works there is extremely fast paced which is good but the lack of training and help from other employees is very minimal! While working in my section of the office there where zero breaks except for the 30-45mins for lunch and that only came when your schedule for the morning was complete. So if you ran into issues which are very common, you might not even get a lunch break! The other MA's that I worked with would walk right out for their hour plus long break without even asking if anyone needs help! To me that is very disrespectful!
Very political, stressful, involved a lot of favoritism
Compensation is good, but I had 4 office managers in 5 years. Growing faster than the office can keep up with. Excellent, dedicated coworkers and there is potential in the office, just needs more direction.
A typical workday consisted of gathering all patients who were scheduled for that day and verifying their insurances before their appointment times. Also took prescriptions for topical analgesic creams and called them into the pharmacy. Management was a bit unprofessional at times, but the physician who owned the place was amazing. The hardest part of the job was dealing with coworkers who did not want to be there and complained everyday about their job or the people they had to work with.
Front Desk Clerk (Former Employee) – Pasadena, TX – January 21, 2017
Everyone there talk about one another. The girls at the front desk give out wrong scripts to patients and then try to cover for one onther. Mangers themselves don't know how to keep stuff private. They don't value their employees. Employees go have a drink when on the clock. But yet the managers think they know what the employees do all the time. I can go on and on, but beware if ever what to work at this place, cuz left to right people stab you in the back.
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) – crestview hills, ky – October 19, 2014
Verified multiple insurance entering them into electronic file. (Humana, Anthem, and Aetna) I learned how to work with several web pages (i.e Medicaid, Wellcare, Coventry, Kentucky Sprit, Zermed, ORRARS, Kasper, and Inspects)
Medical Assistant- Front End (Former Employee) – Pasadena, TX – March 20, 2014
Rooming anywhere from 50-180 patients daily while checking them in, rooming and receiving vital signs. Everyday was a task to maintain patient flow and know which doctor each patient was there to see. The work was done in a timely matter and overall I loved the fast work pace.
Productive, educational and encouraging work place.
Marketing Intern (Former Employee) – Bowling Green, KY – December 19, 2013
With a welcoming employees this comapny makes any employee feel at home. With exceptional bonuses, gifts and personalities, this job makes coming to work everyday an ease. The management is very helpful to beginners along the way and helps to show you the rope. They then encourage you to learn the necessities and be able to find what needs to be done on your own. They teach you how to become and self starter while being an important asset to the overall team.
