Select Time position - TTL

The Select Time position is pretty solid if you are using it as a supplement to an existing job or don't have a high income requirement. In exchange for a minimum of 20 hrs/week, you have access to a full array of benefits usually reserved for a full time worker. The downside: your hours will be limited when work is slow, so depending on more than 20 hours/week (especially in the off season) is not realistic. The company is generally pretty good as far as large employers go.

Hard to reach sales goals

Intuit teaches you a lot but a lot of the sales goals are hard to reach. Will often end up working over 40 hours a week but the pay and benefits are good.

Great mentorship and learning opportunities

My supervisor (Senior PM) and Design partner (Design Manager) made me feel comfortable sharing my thoughts and concerns without feeling judged. It opened a lot of doors for me to improve myself. Forever grateful for this opportunity!

Fast paced remote work environment.

What is the best part of working at the company? The benefits, career development, and culture. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The most stressful part about working here are your metrics. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Working remote is a great experience when everything is working (technology). The company keeps in the loop of changes, plans, and training. The managers are super helpful and supportive. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Depends on the time of year. During tax time, crazy busy. When it slows down, you appreciate the down time to catch up on different training and one on one.

Great colleagues and work life balance.

The team that I worked with in People Analytics was the best aspect of working at Intuit. The company culture fosters supportive and collegial relationships amongst employees. I appreciated the eye toward innovation in the People Analytics space; it was refreshing for new ideas to be seriously considered by the team.

Good benefits, difficult career movement

Worked for this company. They like to push their values and employees first. However, the real truth is unless you are at corporate you are treated like just another number.

Fun Group of people

I Really enjoy working here. This will be my 3rd season with Intuit. I had the best luck with my team last year. Hope to be on the same one for tax year 2024

managers are impatiiient and calll you out in front of coworkers, or at least mine did

A typical day would include no more than 10 calls, if you transfer a call to the wrong place, they are not willing to help you even find the corrects place or if they knew how to take the call they wouldn't. When you are in need of assistance it's up to your coworkers to help, management pops in somewhat but tier 2 helps more than regular management. You are called out in front of coworkers and management will bring big bosses on calls or meetings and you will find out sometime in the meeting. I do not recommend working there if you require even a little extra help, they will fire you and find a way to do so i promise. The hardest part of the job was having to fill out a template and sending it to management just to get help and that leaves customer holding right off the bat 10min if not longer and it takes 3 to fill it out and send it

Pros

decent shift, they close early enough

Cons

if you need help your screwed unless alot of people like you then you may get help

Good atmosphere, good pay.

Excellent work environment. People cheerful, enthusiastic and helpful. Managers teach how to find answers to your own and others questions, creates a collaborative environment

Pros

Fair pay, paid days off, company supplied all equipment to work remotely.

Cons

Contract employees are used and discarded like scratch paper.

Difficult work at low pay

It was a fun stay at home job until it wasn't. Now it's an administrative headache with checkbox insanity. Customers don't matter, just task completion, compliance. No good job to reach for either.

Fulfilling and Flexible Tax Position at Intuit

I thoroughly enjoy my role at Intuit, the creators of TurboTax. While I’d appreciate higher pay, the job’s flexibility is a standout feature, especially when working from the East Coast for California-based clients. Being able to set my own hours is a significant advantage.Management is consistently supportive, and they even provide you with your own computer. What’s particularly appealing is that it’s a W-2 position, so despite the short four-month work season, Intuit offers benefits like 401k matching and various on-the-job perks.Intuit keeps things engaging with seasonal games that offer gift cards upon reaching certain levels, adding a fun element to the work environment. Overall, it’s a rewarding and adaptable position, ideal for those who appreciate flexibility and a great support system.

Pros

Free gift cards, matching 401k

Cons

Is only seasonal

great place to a mother

Intuit is a great place to work and the management is very supportive the only cons I have is it's usually seasonal and hard to get a full-time position. You have an employee discount on the company software and a lot of greater benefits.

Very professional and not micromanaged

I had a great experience each season that I worked for Intuit. They will bring you back each season if you have a good record. You don't even have to apply, they will call you around July, Aug, or Sept to start January. (Some starting October). You choose your own schedule in the beginning you choose a base schedule and then while you're working you can add hours.

Pros

Pay, choose your schedule

Cons

Seasonal

Very little training that u need.

They hired a lot and cut hours of even CPA’s without a proper notice and just out of nowhere cut the hours of a lot of CPA’s, EA, etc. They also hired a lot more than they needed.
