Political culture threatens workplace stability
TEACHING ASSISTANT (Former Employee) –  Ames, IAFebruary 13, 2019
The University's attachment to the Iowa Board of regents and the political culture of control over deans and provosts puts pressure on each department. In the LAS College in particular, educators are left unsure of future employment or available advancement at Iowa State.

Graduate Research Assistant (Current Employee) –  Ames, IAJune 17, 2019
I worked a lot of weekends but also learned a lot. Plenty of opportunities to learn new skills. Professors are mostly nice. There is a good collaborative atmosphere

Systems Analyst III (Current Employee) –  Ames, IAJune 7, 2019
It is good place to work but it could be improved if there was more opportunities for growth. It is state job so there differences on how things are done.
