I applied for a clinical nurse educator. From the time I applied, to the time I actually received a response, was months. My 45-60 minute phone interview with (Manager in San Diego) appeared to be going well, with an in person interview scheduled for Tuesday of the next week. Everything went haywire from that point on. On Monday, the day before the interview, I never heard back from her. I did contact her to reconfirm the interview for Tuesday, and she sent me a cold, calius text message stating that there was no interview, and she would reach out should they interview again. Her attitude went from being excited to meet me, to I want nothing to do with you. It was the strangest, most disrespectful interaction I have ever had with an employer. I did speak with this manager, and she tried to clean up her lack of professionalism by stating the position I was applying for was being put on the back burner. I did apply for another position, at the manager's request, and once I did, I never heard back from her, even after I contacted her about the second position. I was then sent an email stating they went with a candidate who had "stronger skills" than me, which I am sure was sent to cover up their actions. The funny thing is that there will always be someone who will have more experience, stronger skills, etc. Whether or not IQVIA managers want to believe this, but right now there is someone in the world who has stronger skills than they do, and many who are in charge of hiring, and yet they still work for this company, I will say to everyone, until you physically meet with them, take what they say with a grain of salt. I was treated horribly, without cause or provocation. Hope this helps!
I applied to a job posting here on indeed.com and went through a phone screening process. They then invited me in for an interview.
