Layed off due to Government shut down
Project Management (Former Employee) –  Kent, WAFebruary 24, 2019
Was layed off due to government shut down and company down size due to this event. Busy season was from August to October. Much over time was put in, then to just be let go.

No Career Advancement
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLFebruary 5, 2019
I have worked for Iron Bow Technology for almost 2 years and they barely give raises to their employees. There is barely any room to move up in the company because they are selective and go according to who they like and not who does the work the best or effectively. I wouldn't recommend this place for a experienced customer service representative. I would recommend this place to a person who is new to customer service because they will literally hire any one without making sure they can read or speak professionally.
Pros
Incentives every 3 months
Cons
No career advancement and very low pay

Administrative (Current Employee) –  Northern VirginiaJanuary 24, 2019
Work/life balance ultimately depends upon your manager's level of flexibility. Pay seems to be lower than other companies. Laid back environment. Company offers fun perks (i.e. - freshly popped popcorn every day). Not much room for advancement.

Sr. Customer Service Rep/Floor Support (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLJanuary 18, 2019
It was a normal call center with certain people in place that weren’t familiar with this type of work. Normally very slow during the days. It was a company that gained a project to run a call center for an insurance company.

Customer Service Representative (Health) (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLSeptember 11, 2018
I never write a completely negative review but I want to help you if you are looking for a job in Tampa.

If you need a job while you are looking for another job, this place is OK. You have to understand, this is 3rd party contract work and they treat the employees as 3rd party. The work isn't hard and its a slower call volume but management is lacking. Upper management is horrible and they treat this place as a cash cow, no real concern for employees or wanting to keep them.

Some individuals that have been here for over a year are still waiting for a raise two months later, they keep saying next paycheck or it wasn't factored into the budget.

No real professionalism here except from a few of the reps on the floor. Rules are made but are not applied or enforced to everyone only those they choose to.

If you are looking for a place to build a career or stay a while, this is the wrong place. They will treat you as if they don't need or want you.
Pros
Slow Pace
Cons
Too many to list, read review.

Same repetitive work, no kind of room for promotion, raise's are based on performance. Can use a tad bit improvement. Some of the current team leaders can be replaced or get more training.
Pros
Great co-workers
Cons
Horrible place to work for.

CareFirst Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLApril 4, 2018
things are constantly changing, there really is no consistency in the information being given out to representatives, management is nice but unprofessional, lack of enforcement during training turns into disciplinary actions, I need security and opportunity for growth

Easy slow paced call center
Member Services Representative (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLMarch 28, 2018
While during the non open enrollment period there is about 30 mins between calls. Which is nice but also makes the day drag. It is a typical call center loud, issues with dress code, coworkers standing around talking. There is little room for advancement. Answers to questions very depending on which floor support or manager you ask. Floor support gets upset when you interrupt their non work conversation to assist with a member inquiry.
WorkForce is one of the worst parts of the job micro managing each second of breaks. It makes you feel like a number and easily replaceable.

Cons
Workforce, inconsistent leadership

Principle Contracts Administrator (Former Employee) –  Chantilly, VAFebruary 18, 2018
Lacks cohesion, no team unity or communiction, and very poor management. Senior management did not accept responsibility for providing a somewhat hostile environment.

Professional yet Relaxed
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLNovember 17, 2017
Iron Bow is a professional building, yet they have a relaxed atmosphere. While Iron Bow understands the member or customer does come first, they also realize their employees are the first point of contact and focuses on the employees as well. This is the first time I have been at a job like this
Pros
Competitive pay, good time off
Cons
slow accrual of time off, hugely expensive insurance

Great company but horrible benefits
Member Services Representative (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLNovember 14, 2017
Iron Bow is an awesome company to work for however, management needs some work and there's hardly room for advancements. There's only 8 stalls in the bathrooms but there's about 200 workers using those stalls.

Company with huge potential
Program Manager (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLJune 7, 2017
New business channel in Florida has huge potential. The company has entered the outsourced call center market and has a strong background in technology.
