Productive but lack or direction

I would never be told when there were events and then I would end up staying for a 13 hour work day. No prep is ever done prior.
Management is poor. They will tell you one thing and ask why you didn’t do the other thing when you were asked not to do said thing.
They also just throw job titles at you and end up doing other kind of work.
