Very poor pay. No benefits
Driver/Operator (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLMarch 26, 2019
Very low pay for the amount and type of work. Shift starts at 2:30 a m. They expect you to hustle to help unload 5 semis within a three to 4 Hour timeframe. Then you have to sort your own route, scan everything and load your own truck. Average pay starts at $750 per week they do not take out any taxes. There is the option to make extra money by running specials. However you never know how much you're going to make on the specials until after you run them. And there's always the option that after running the specials they could decide not to pay for them.

Run. 1099 not w2. Treat drivers like garbage. No chance for advancement. Pay is stagnant. Taxes will cost you double and in some instances will add up to 40% of your take home.
Mike is clueless and Anthony only takes care of his buddies.

poor leadership
contract driver supervisor (Former Employee) –  Shreveport, LANovember 23, 2015
After being hired I was shown a couple of payroll/specials forms and not trained in how to properly fill them out. There was no guidance. Working as a contractor for another company who's presence was almost never there was a burden to say the least. A person can't fulfill obligations they don't know they have, as in being shown a daily audit of paperwork yet not being told I was the one who had to do this audit. The other company we were contracted for wanted me/us to do what should have been their work.
