Work environment is not the best
Fiber Technician (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXAugust 19, 2018
Unless you are part of the "good ol boys" and like brown nosing, this is not the place for you. They have shady time keeping practices and common sense is thrown right out the window. If you need help on a job you're on your own. Yet if you try to meshe a decision on your own you get reprimanded. Ive seen some get multiple damages and wreck company vehicles and still continue to have a job and some have no damages, no wrecks or anything damaging to the company and still get fired for no reason. Apply at your own risk, this company has already been sued once by its employees for its practices.
Pros
Meager benefits
Cons
Poor management, no common sense, shady time keeping.

Field technician installer (Former Employee) –  Fort Myers, FLApril 24, 2018
The job was a relaxed environment. It was flexible as well. There was excellent companionship among coworkers. The job was not hard as well. Best thing in the job was learning how to solve problems.

Installation Specialist (Current Employee) –  Kansas City, MOMarch 13, 2018
Easy workload, simple tasks once trained. 40+ hrs a week with above average pay for the industry. Benefits virtually nonexistent or expensive, especially for families. Upper management has a disconnect with its workforce.

Business Manager (Current Employee) –  West Caldwell, NJJanuary 13, 2018
If you are not an expert at what you do, don't even apply to ITC. You make the best of your career at ITC when you know your stuff. You get paid by what you know
Pros
Pay is equivalent to expertise.

FIBER SPECIALIST (Former Employee) –  Round Rock, TXDecember 29, 2017
I truly loved working for this company and working with the guys at the Round Rock, TX location. Our area manager was great and all of the supervisors were awesome. For those of us who had worked similar jobs with other companies, we never complained and appreciated how good we had it working this job. I wish the company was available where I moved, but look forward to hopefully joining the company in the future.
Pros
Work/life balance. Easy work.
Cons
None.

Telecom Network Service Technician (Current Employee) –  Spokane, WAOctober 22, 2017
Good place to work but contracts are uncertain due to nature of the work. Training is not quite as comprehensive as necessary. Can feel quite independent.

CableCom leaves much to be desired
Project Coordinator (Former Employee) –  South San Francisco, CAAugust 9, 2017
ITC seems like a great staffing company and I had no problem with them. I was hired by ITC to work for CableCom, which is a Construction company that contracts for Comcast to bring service to customers. The management is the worst I've ever experienced. There is no training procedure in place when you get hired and you are supposed to just observe other Project Coordinators that are very busy and not trained to be trainers. You are supposed to "ask the right questions" and figure out everything on your own. The management puts a ton of stress on the employees to get everything done under a tight deadline, without offering support, guidance, resources.
Pros
Some freedom to manage projects
Cons
Stress, chaoitic environment

Technician (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MOJune 1, 2017
Installing for google fiber in KC and Austin TX. Was not technically complicated but was somewhat dangerous. Working outside and in attics can be difficult. Hard to stay motivated 100% of the time. Benefits not very good but the pay was fine.

Withheld (Former Employee) –  Citrus Heights, CAMay 11, 2017
Good place to work in my opinion, the environment was always about getting things done, which made focusing on work easier. The nature of the work is such that there's always something more to do. Never a dull moment.
Pros
End of month friday lunches
