Interview for a Dean position. The campus president decided to not even show up and the rest of the committee were visibly surprised by this. As someone who has worked in higher ed for a long time it came off as extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. They interview a lot of people they have no intention of hiring.

I don't mind it. The typical first assumption is that I am a teacher. I am not. There are several different careers at Ivy Tech not relating to education.
