Diverse, but not always inclusive. Typical, starts out great and friendly, then just like high school, the “claws come out” and you will find cliques, “brown nosers”, backstabbers, and bullies, and are amongst all position levels. You also have those that you can collaborate and have a great working relationship and trustworthy communication with, but they are a diamond in the rough.
The most stressful part about working at Ivy Tech was dealing with my immediate supervisor who was very unprofessional and had very poor people skills. He was totally clueless about repair skills and procedures and I am not sure how he got the job. It was his unfair practices that helped me to make the decision to retire from there.
