They offer a lot of hours and opportunity to advance.

J Polep shift are to finish unless you are part time, so you get really good hours during the work week. While working at J Polep I have learned how to work at a fast paste but also be careful with accuracy.
Selector (Former Employee) – Chicopee, MA – October 16, 2016
a normal day at j polep begins with punching in near the scanner cage then waiting to get a scanner, make sure it works then going to your designated line and taking orders out of one computer in each area and using the scanner to find said items you arent allowed to go home until your area is finished but most of the time you are understaffed or the staff is all fairly new and even if you finish your areas amount for the day they still might send you to another area to help. You end up working 12 hour workdays at 10.50 an hour.
long hours, Poor management, out of date equipment
Route Delivery Driver (Former Employee) – Chicopee, MA – October 28, 2014
Entry level company for inexperienced drivers looking for a local driving position. So it is what it is.
The pay sucks, but the work isn't that bad assuming that you are built for physical labor. It is very fast paced. You will have anywhere between 18 and 33 stops per day that are timed by dispatch.
The down side is they use twin screw tractors with 28 ft trailers. With the twin it can be a little to much truck for the places you are expected to deliver to, which most of the time with be little convenience stores tucked into little side streets in cities.
4 day work week, new equipment, good coworkers, home every night
