This company is an great place to work. The pay was not. The type of work was very demanding and it take a toll on your physical body. I wouldn't go back and work for this company.

Intermodal position was local and the pay was good. Other then that it was terrible! The equipment was so so. The dispatchers really had no clue when it came down to a problem or an issue regarding Jb hunts loads.

I worked at jb hunt for about 4 years. I stayed because of the pay and benefits I wa offered. My workdays went by so fast I lost track of how long id been there. All of my managers on the 3 different account I worked were approachable and cared about my safety and productivity. If I had a problem it was fixed immediately. I left to get my hazmat and haul fuel. But for a standard cdl, this company does a great job at making you feel at home, even if otr. The terminals are amazing and your fellow drivers make you feel apart of the brotherhood. My deliveries were consistent and in easy to reach places. Maybe once or twice I had a difficult backing scenario.

Did 90 hour weeks during Covid. $55,000 set salary was unchanged so all those hours were free labor. The management team is a joke. They plan for very quick turnaround and do not care about effort.

I worked 4-12 hours a day (depending on how many trucks show up) 6 days a week. $12/per hour with no benefits with a chance of serious injury is not worth it. Management treats you like your replaceable.
