Wardrobing,stylist skills are important, as well as enjoy connecting with women and their lives, to,connect them to products they will love. There is a social element involved as you are in a small to big group of women every day. Women are particular about their shopping, so expectations are high, but you can make most of it fun.
Speak to your customer service skills, and how you have a sense of urgency.
Interesting selling structure, where there is a team sell environment, no commission.
You are expected to wear current styles, colors, and new product is expensive.
They run minimal contests to win product, so there is pressure to buy.
Scheduling is different with some shifts only 3 hours.
J Jill is a good work environment, and lots of opportunity for training.
Overall a good place to work. Managers make good pay. Selling supervisors get somewhat irregular hours.....18 one week, 25 the next.....so it's kind of hard to gauge your pay as payroll varies every week. They want a lot of availability with supervisors.
