This is a good company to work for straight from school. It's has aportunity for growth if enough years are put in. If someone is interested in growth fast not yhr company I would recommend.

Prestigious sweatshop

Zero work life balance. Strong brand name and stability. Very hierarchical culture. Expected to stay late in the office 5 times a week and work until 9 pm everyday.

Good company

It’s a great company to build a career as career mobility is extremely encouraged to all employees, as long as they meet performance you should be able to mobilize to a new roll.

Great place for career development

Work culture is great and they truly promote career development. If you perform well there are many opportunities that present themselves. Benefits are great

Great place to work...once you find your people

The internship program was excellent! Mentors and advisors at every corner. The team I was placed with was extremely helpful at breaking down the information and available whenever I had questions however, that's not every team. Once I transitioned into a permanent role and moved to a different division it was chaos. From lazy management, lack of training, zero accountability, and lower wages compared to competitors. You get free coffee.

Management sucks

Biggest problem is management and the difference in pay. My experience management wanted you to go above and beyond while you’re getting paid less than new employees getting hired

Don't bother

The form used to have the best benefits, but now they've rested on their laurels. Their benefits are no better than competition, and their pay is the worst around. They will mess up your vacation time, not paying you for it or deciding you don't have your full allotment. They have a horrible human resources that cannot assist you with issues. There is no real direction through middle management past the current quarter. The training is abysmal and the resources are unacceptable. You will spend the majority of your time trying to figure out what you're supposed to be doing while having all of the liability of someone who actually has proper facilities available. Just skip working for jpmc.

Average bank

Pay is below other banks. Relies on reputation. Management sends mixed messages. Very little transparency.

Lowest Pay in the Industry

Lowest pay out of all financial institutions. Licensed advisors working in call centers making 24.50 an hour. It's beyond depressing, worst thing is you have to wait 18 months before you can internal transfer to other positions. And if you leave they company, they ask you to pay back all benefits used, especially education benefits.

Managers always changing

Branch managers micro manage, very passive aggressive. Constantly changing. Met some nice coworkers. Culture is definitely toxic positivity. Customers can be very overwhelming depending on location.

Varies within different departments

Private Wealth was a toxic environment and was about who you know and not based on performance. This is the worst environment I have ever worked in within the JPMorgan organization.

Low pay

Had to take a 30% pay cut for promotion. It literally make no sense. Imagine you work somewhere for 5 years built your income up because of your performance then Bam you decide to take a promotion. Then all of a sudden you see your income drop 40%. BECAUSE you took a promotion.
