Great vision, but lacks execution due to lack of leadership from the top. Great management of employees though. Individually speaking, only a few were kind and respectful and understanding. However, due to lack of leadership, policy (perhaps), led such individuals along with others to misbehave.

One manager, recently, I have learned shot a disparaging comment to an employee below him, in the Amagansett location, while also throwing the employee's drink-made-for-customer against the wall.
This isn't the only incident of his inappropriate behavior, and perhaps has not been addressed because he is a blood relative to the CEO.

Coffee is great, in addition.

There's a lack of integrity with labeling certain food items and this may due to carelessness, laziness, or lack of competency with suppliers.

Only higher-up employee positions are treated with greater kindness and respect.

Wage / Hour is disgraceful.

Jack's absence and lack of engagement with employees and addressing the team not being a paramount priority does a great disservice to his vision.

Jack, along with the team (even his blood relative as one of the managers) are not innately bad people to work with or to work for.

The frequent employee turnover, and lack of team continuity and understanding of each individual's strengths and how to lead one another properly to bring the Jack experience to life is what makes an employee feel uneasy when working there.

There's no protection of one's employees if a complaint is made. If there's a complaint, the individual complaining should visit
  more... the store and sit down with the individual that made them feel uneasy. Otherwise, Jack himself should kindly ask for forgiveness, and offer a cup of Jack for free, and work with the employee if it so happens that he or she is out of character. But, if the customer is wrong, Jack, should kindly ask him or her to not continue business with them just like Southwest Airlines and Costco would do.  less
