Receiving worker (Former Employee) – Santa Fe Springs, CA – May 26, 2015
I worked in both the packing and receiving departments of the warehouse. The company sold high end furniture, so I dealt with boxes that contained chairs, couches, etc. I was a jack of all trades for this place, as in if anyone needed something done, they would come to me. Mostly I unloaded semi containers, took inventory of product, and put away the items in stock. The co-workers and managers are all very friendly and I never felt mistreated by anyone. The hardest part of the job was the many overtime hours we worked because it interfered with person life during the weekdays, but the most rewarding part was the paycheck.
Sales Support Rep (Former Employee) – Santa Fe Springs, CA – June 19, 2018
Laid-back but fast-paced job. Competetive pay, employee-centered management, tons of perks, generous benefits package, yearly company trip, monthly employee catered lunch. Demanding clients, hard to please sales reps, system difficult to master
International Sales Representative (Former Employee) – Miami, FL – February 21, 2017
At JANUS et Cie I learned how to sell internationally and it was a very positive experience. I also met very interesting people and grew my contacts and client portfolio considerably. The hardest part of the job was to coordinate traveling abroad and having to sell on a daily basis in the US. It was a huge challenge.
Beautiful Showrooms, great product, good training, good beneficts package.
Packer/ Loading/Unloading (Former Employee) – Santa Fe Springs, CA – April 21, 2016
Work was fast paced and mainly slow. I learned different products and ways to handle them for the customers. Management was horrible. Good, hard working employees, (wish we had more or kept the good ones) The amount of time and how much you can load yourself to stage the products both packing and loading it. Everything at work was the most enjoyable.
