Typical day for me is pretty laid back. If you are good at your job and put in the hours your golden. I came to Jarrett from a job shop environment with almost no professional experience in CAD.The senior designers have taken me under their wing, and I feel like they are as invested in my future as I am. I am not remotely qualified to critique management. I feel like they are available and have solved any problem I have brought to their attn. Culture...We have that. Hardest Part of the job is communicating with customers. Most enjoyable part of the job has been seeing my name down in the corner of a nice Allison Transmission drawing. I have always enjoyed building from their drawings because of how well done they are. Seeing my name down there puts a little pep in my step.

Open hours. Casual dress. The only supervisor I had was the owner. Some days you world walk on egg shells, other days was smooth sailing. I managed 13 designers and handled the Rolls-Royce account. This usually consisted of 150 orders per month.
