Okay place to work. Free snacks/drinks provided in the kitchen, as well as catered lunches very often (meetings/trainings). Easy to work with the staff.

A lot of nice people. A little too much group think on occasion. Lots of senior management turnover is a concern. Overall committed to doing good things to help patients.

The people are wonderful
Project Management (Current Employee) –  Palo Alto, CAFebruary 7, 2018
The people and overall culture at Jazz is wonderful. Work life balance is no-existent though and upper management does not prioritize projects well. Once you start you are overworked from day one.
The company does amazing things for patients, but they need to do more for their employees, the employees who are not a VP or above.

Sr. Manager (Current Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAOctober 23, 2017
Tone from the top needs improvement as there is a disconnect between what they say they want to do and what they actually do. Walk the talk! The UK site wants control as they are worried about what is to come as a result of BREXIT - company should get out of Oxford and just go to Dublin for all of your company activities.

Jazz was a terrific place to work. Being a small company, there was little opportunity for advancement, but that was really the only negative.

Executive Assistant (Former Employee) –  Palo Alto, CANovember 12, 2016
Every day provided an opportunity to grow and learn new things. Management was interesting, coworkers very diverse considering what building you worked in, the indifference was a rollercoaster, some of the people were fantastic and a joy to work with.

Toas
IT Management Consultant (Former Employee) –  Palo Alto, CASeptember 5, 2015
I was one of the few non-IT folks at Taos but often got to work directly with talented Consultants from all over the country. I enjoyed meeting a very diverse group of people over the couple of years I worked there. I found the environment to be very supportive of different lifestyles as well, recruiters worked to prepare new candidates for the client sites to the best of their ability. Taos was a fun place to work and I enjoyed the regular employees in recruiting, sales, HR, and helpdesk. Taos has a managed-services division and use their own amazing people for helpdesk. It's Class-A support: fast, friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend it to my new employers. ;-) I knew quite a few consultants who grew from new to seasoned-and-sought-after IT professional in just a few years because they were at Taos

Sr. Project Manager (Former Employee) –  Dublin, Athlone Ireland and Puerto RicoAugust 5, 2015
Having worked at Jazz on a project basis, I can honestly say that I enjoyed being able to contribute the success of the company. The executive management is outstanding the management that I reported to was beyond compare. This company is very employee focused and seeks to have a good balance between work and life.

Details of the work performed, design and construction management. The team demonstrated a great deal of flexibility on how to achieve the desired outcome, clear in establishing the key priorities and willingness to execute.

The folks that I worked with in Dublin and Athlone were fantastic to work with, very team oriented and dedicated to the success of the company. If given the opportunity work for them again, I absolutely would.
Pros
Excellent management, team philosophy, very friendly group
Cons
Project ended

So you wanna job at Jazz?
Candidate (Former Employee) –  Palo Alto, CAJanuary 10, 2014
Be prepared for a serious mix of unconnected interviews, disjointed schedules, and clueless HR people that treat you like a first-grader just entering Elementary School. They're not interested in what you can do, just who you know inside of the company already.
Pros
Free lunches, snacks, beverages, catered lunches are not uncommon for special milestones. Fairly good pay structure for teh Bay Area
Cons
If you're competent and have exceptional skills it's still unlikely you'll be offered a job, unless you already know somebody there
