Apprentice Electrician in Fort Worth, TX

JBI is fairly organized compared to many of the large companies I've worked for. They put a strong emphasis on safety and training low-level apprentices. JBI is by far the best electrical contractor I've worked.

Rey ha sido el mejor manager que e tenido, ayuda a superarme , tanto en el trabajo como en conocimiento, eso sí tiene que tener noción del campo de la electricidad porque si es bien requerido.
Electrical Apprentice in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico

Great company to work for. They take care of their people. Pay is fair. Some over time available sometimes. Per diem more than covers your travel expenses 90% of the time. They offer fair PTO based on hours worked and time served with company. They pay for you to travel home once a month.

Great coMpany for apprentices. Not very many growth opportunities unless you are in the good old boy club. They treated us well but they laid me off after never missing a day or being late after 9 months of being with them. Business is business I get it but it sucks to get rid of the good ones and not the ones who always miss and are always late.

Overworked employees that have to travel as if in a circus. Very few local contractors are brought on to projects. JBI brings most of its workers from Texas to their projects. Managers have some but not enough regard for safety. Managers can go on a frenzy to finish a job and work 7 days per week for weeks on end. Manager would not sign experience hours for me at the end of a 10 month project. They have at least one recent fatal accident of an employee that fell from a ladder.
