Easy work but toxic work place

First let me say the pay is good for the work we do. And the company itself is a good company to work for but I never understood what a toxic work place culture was until I worked at JCB. Due to lack of trust, ineffective communication, and power struggles everyday wasn’t even worth the pay sometimes. I came there to work for my paycheck and go home. And management took advantage of that. I worked a 4 man job by myself while my lead was off playing cards with our supervisor. And after 3 months of coworkers from other departments coming to help me because no one else would I put in a complaint and got let go 2 days later because I so called lost my temper when I was tired of being a one man show. So if you’re interested in work at jcb be prepared to work like a dog and be let go the moment you stand up for yourself. But on a bright side as long as you have a UPASS you never have to worry about losing your job if you do drugs. They give you a hour heads up before you have to take a drug test. So not all that bad

Pros

Pay, overtime, benefits

Cons

Management, drugs, toxic employees

Benefits and employees make working here bareable.

The benefits are pretty good for what you pay versus what you get. There was not much work and home life balance before I left, so money to be made if you don't mind working some overtime.

Pros

Benefits overtime

Cons

Hours communication

Don’t do it !!

Not the ideal place to work for the culture is toxic and draining no ideas to doing things a new way continue the same old trend as far as monthly builds always playing catch-up cause of lack of proper management in turn you will spend all your time there while office people are applauded and praised for the little effort they do give however they have great benefits and there are SOME wonderful people there

Pure Politics

Not a bad place to work honestly. Pay doesn't match the amount of work you're expected to do. Very underpaid. Management is 🤞 so if you're not in the inner circle just beware. Was there for 3yrs. Learned alot about myself as well as the nature of manufacturing. Made me a beast. Thank you

Pros

Met my woman here

Give it week.

The training is non-existent to say the least. Supervisorial roles are that of the good ole boy era. The hard working individuals that are under the guise that get a point no promotion so they work harder because "I know we have some individuals that are weaker in some areas so do what you can and lets move the line forward"

Pros

There truly isn't one.

Cons

23 minute lunch break.

Productive place to work

Good work environment and plenty overtime. The work is very simple and repetitive. This facility has a on site Cafe. Whenever you come in on Sundays you will get paid double time

Only if you're desperate......

● Work-life balanceThe managers don't know what they are doing so you will be teaching them and learning as you go. Everything is trial and error.● Pay & benefitsThe benefits could be better but are not awful.● Job security and advancementEven though they promote career growth, it will not happen.● ManagementThey have managers who were not properly trained to do their jobs so they can't help their employees.● CultureIt is a British company and they are all about getting money. They show very little concern for their employees.● OverallIf i knew what I know now, I would have never worked for this company. Very uncomfortable work environment. Petty coworkers, 30 minute lunchbreak, Cafe is very expensive so they get all their money back from you. You're constantly being watched. Too many meetings. Unnecessary emails.

Lack of empowerment equals lack of market share

The culture embraces micromanagement, resulting in a lack of (good) decisions, missed opportunities, poor brand awareness and weak market share. There are many great employees who work there, but they are not given the opportunity to use their strengths to change how things have always been done to improve the business.

At JCB, inc. they take care of their employees by ensuring their safety first. They treat them well, and are very respectful. Paid well and gave good bonus compensation.

Jcb

Worked with some awesome people. Leadership is tough. They’re mostly very insecure and are more concerned about themselves than anyone else. Strict adherence to uniform and schedule.

It’s ok

Don’t work here they don’t care about you they will treat you like a slave and don’t care about your personal life. Don’t work here if you want to be treated like less than a human
