20 questions about Shifts at JCPenney
After working retail for years, JC Penney included, we always started to clean our zone 30-45 min before store closing, while cashiers counted the till and turned money into office. We all were out by 20 min after closing. This JCPenney here is keeping these students 2 hrs after closing, with no mall security and dark parking lots... that’s 11pm week nights and Saturday night and 6pm close Sunday til 8pm!! Ridiculous!!!

Management and customers always complaining at you over stuff that’s not your fault, constantly cleaning up stuff cuz they put too much merchandise on the floor so it looks way to crowded to be able to shop.

Maybe you can take time off until your knee heals depending on how long you've been there or if you have PTO, or Family medical leave. But as far as I know they only have standing positions so its really up to the MGR
