People are friendly. Management expects you to push credit cards on people and will encourage you to lie about products you are using or wearing that aren't jcp so that customers will buy a jcp item that looks close enough.

I love my job at JCP! Management pushes hard for me to retain my job, even though no other JCP store has a specialist in the section where I work. My store has become a “test” store for certain concepts; my job being one of those tests. Sales have soared in my area, and shrinkage has gone down.

Love those I work with, the pay and my cost of travel to work is costly, being retired , having spent the last 48 years working, it's hard and humbling to work for min wage, when I was 16 which was the last time I worked for min.

Management and customers always complaining at you over stuff that’s not your fault, constantly cleaning up stuff cuz they put too much merchandise on the floor so it looks way to crowded to be able to shop.
