Reading these reviews about Jeffco is not only disappointing, it's tragic. Jeffco is not a less advantaged county. The expectations (from my experience) from the hiring/recruiting teams is that they expect only the 'cream of the crop' in their candidates regardless of position or dept. Upon reading these reviews it's incongruent to not expect the same of the managing and supervisory staff. No one would accept or stay in any position where you are so badly treated and manged by Emotionally Unintelligent supervisors, etc. Get on board Jeffco....demand the same of ANY and ALL of your managers, supervisors. If not, you're wasting our tax monies, your time, and you get the definition of 'insanity', right?
Keep up with the times, current salaries and comp packages, as other local governments. You have been way behind the market for years, and as a tax-payer, I would like to see my county government pay for top-notch experience and keep them around. What is the problem with Jeffco HR and Talent Acquisition? Do you value your greatest assets? This question needs to go to the Board of
Directors. It is time for a change.
