It is a school district.
I am not willing to rail too hard on a school district that has done all they can to make me feel welcome. They could pay more, but I understand the limitations of working for in the public school system. I love working for them even though don't pay me like other districts would because most of the time they have been a pleasure to work with.

I loved the kids but
I just didn’t get paid enough to take care of myself and pay rent. I got chastised for things that they also did, very hypocritical staff. Very clique. I felt out of place.

Frequent Admin Changes
Admin changes too frequently. There is not enough support. The students are great, but demands from admin and district are too much. The pandemic has made problems worse.

I have been with this school district in different capacities for the past 20+ years, not to mention in this district. I enjoy going to work everyday, love my co-workers and students. They Are Arbitrary and Capricious and Will Slowly Eat Your Soul
Check out the lowest paid school District in the State of California. Check out their retention rates - no one can bare to stay with extremely poor central office management and terrible pay and benefits. I would look elsewhere as I do not trust or respect the central office or board management.
