Fill all positions on 1st shift before making skeleton crews on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Keep upper management accountable for schedule overages during the week. Stop making line leads do manager responsibilities. Acknowledgement goes a long way for employees and is a definite morale booster. Give back everything that was taken away when onyx took over. Listen to employees when there is a problem not blow them off. Last but not least stop accepting overages from other plants when we have full schedules ourselves.

Value my workers. Encourage them rather than looking for the tiniest faults. Stay in touch with the lead men on the floor so I'd know what's going on. I would not use my power to take retribution. I'd find ways to recognize people for jobs well done. I would not let powerful people influence my decisions on job placements.
