Protocol and Branding Manager (Former Employee) –  Far Hills, NJFebruary 7, 2019
Upper management lacks accountability, no clear vision for the company, severe micro-management, lack of trust, divisive tactics, they want workers, not thinkers.
Pros
Travel to the Olympic Games
Cons
Lack of quality leadership

The money is great as long as you're ready for a roller coaster!
Employee (Former Employee) –  Bedminster, NJOctober 23, 2018
This company is dysfunctional and although they pay well or use to pay well, you have to put up with the mismanagement and the work culture. No one is trusted at Jet Set unless your family and the only family is the father and son running the business. There is no creativity, nor do they want your input on how to make the company a better place. They have been doing business the same way for 40 years and in their eyes, they don't need to change anything. The lure of the job is the Olympics if you can withstand the owners, the way they do business and the way they treat the employees. Don't be fooled by the salary, the job title or the Olympics as the turnover rate at Jet Set is high for a reason. You can make great money, but your life will be miserable and the office is located in the middle of nowhere.

The most enjoyable part of the day is going home! The games are great but don't kid yourself you will work during the Games and the stress and frustration just might do you in.
Pros
You may get to go to the Olympics and work 15 hour days

Not supportive
Manager (Former Employee) –  New jerseyApril 16, 2018
Small company that does not conform to the management standards you would expect to find at a regular company. Hard work and accomplishments are not generally recognized, which leads to morale issues. The work is challenging (positive) and the people are what makes the environment tolerable. Company suffer high turnover after every major event due to the burnout.
Pros
Challenging work, people
Cons
Stressful, hard work not recognized

Good place to work with advancement and learning opportunities
Operations Manager (Current Employee) –  Far Hills, NJFebruary 5, 2015
Good place to work with advancement opportunity. I've learned many things about the industry and have acquired many skills. Critical thinking skills have proven to be a must and I can't think of a better place to develop these skills, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
