Our inclusive service delivery at JFS is accomplished through an equally strong interrelationship between our DIRECT SERVICE TEAM (Mental Health, Therapists, Intake, Village by the Shore, Rothenberg Center, Jail Division, Atlantic Homeless Alliance, and Vocational) and our INDIRECT SERVICE TEAM (Finance, Administrative support, Development, IT, Compliance, and Human Resource Departments), creating our mosaic of success and assuring a turn-key operation each day.
OUR Mental Health Services Team is both mobile and flexible in providing support. They outreach to over 1,000 people each year meeting basic needs and promoting recovery.
OUR Therapists are highly trained in providing specialized treatment. They provided nearly 10,000 hours of
counseling each year to adults and children in a multitude of settings.
OUR Intake Team continues to be our “front line” for those accessing JFS. They answer an average of 30 calls or walk-ins each day.
OUR Village by the Shore Team offers a true sense of community and service with more than 100 members.
OUR Rothenberg Center Team continues to coordinates workshops, mammograms, nursing education, and more.
Working with the police and courts, OUR Jail Diversion Team provides a deeper involvement with the justice
system. On average, they assist more than 175 individuals, monthly.
OUR Atlantic Homeless Alliance’s skilled workforce continues to help our community’s most vulnerable
individuals. Through Single Point of Entry as well as street outreach, more than 2,500 have been helped this year.
OUR Vocational Team continues to evolve. Job Coaches are assisting consumers with disability gain employment.
OUR Food Pantry distributes more than 12,000 pounds of non-perishables per year in support of the above teams.
