Cashier/Sales Associate (Current Employee) – Henrico County, VA – April 7, 2016
Jimmy Jazz is an okay company, it could definitelty use improvement especially as far as pay. A tyical day at work would include assisting customers, cashiering, and making sure everything was neat and in place aorund the store.
The job is ok its something to get me by but its not where i want to be long term or advance with them. The pay is barely enough, the hours are little to non, and management doesn't trust their employees to do their jobs they spy on us through cameras in the store from another state.
Get to meet new people and interact with them while they are shopping
Corporate, Store Management, lack empathy and respect for employees, pay is barely enough for a single person to live off of.
a typical day at work is boring unless we have shipment or mark downs or changing the store around. I learned to sensor and sale shoes, replace shoes management isn't so great co-workers are fun the job is pretty simple, not hard to do I enjoy most interacting with customers
