Work & Life Balance

Sandwich Maker and Cashier in Ashburn, VA
on March 1, 2021
Was an ok first job
I worked at Jimmy Johns while I was in high school. It was a pretty easy job. I was there for less than five months because I received another job offer. My duties mostly included cleaning and wrapping sandwiches. They didn't trust me to cut or make sandwiches unless we were super busy.
Jimmy Johns inshop in Phoenix, AZ
on June 12, 2021
Everyone there is very laid back for the most part. I like working there because of people I got along with. There was some scheduling conflict. Anytime my schedule change I was never told. Anytime I asked what my schedule was, because most of the time there was no schedule posted up, I never got a response. I definitely won't work at any Jimmy John's again.
Line Worker in Magnolia, AR
on June 11, 2021
It’s almost impossible to every get 30+ hours a week but overall a great job with great people. The work isn’t hard at all. Big focus on cleanliness and being on time.
Driver in Reno, NV
on June 10, 2021
There is a lack of proper chain of command, the micromanagement on every task from some higher-ups is suffocating, and the lack of management from others makes even simple tasks stressful. Horrible work ethics are rewarded with the ability to sit around and get paid while other employees get an increased workload.
Assistant Store Manager in Albuquerque, NM
on June 10, 2021
I worked as a assistant manager for 5 years. Upper management barely gives out pay raises. A lot of hours, very little pay. no Raises or reviews given like they said on hiring. Overall a good job for someone looking for 1-20 hours a week for a first time job. but not worth the stress and commitment they demand from middle management.
