Worst interview process I've ever gone through. First, hiring manager is discussing with someone else how badly interviews went while I was in the interview process. Second, HR Manager from plant location is literally the worst person ever, his demeanor and overall personality left a lot to be desired. Asked a question about difference in the company now vs when he started, je proceeded to tell me that Obama and Obamacare (did not even try to call it the ACA and he's an HR professional...yeah right) caused the company to drop their premium health care plan. Then proceeded to tell me that I had been laid off a lot, so yeah 2 layoffs in 21 years of working is a lot.
Interviews started with 3 phone screens and then an all day interview. Clearly wish I could get those hours back.
Workplace did not seem diverse or inclusive at all, should have been my 1st clue that it might not be a fit.
It took several months. I talked with the HR department several times and after a month had an interview. It was a month after that they called me to offer the job.
