Cashier in Sterling, VA
on June 3, 2021
The people there were very kind and understanding! As a cashier (under 18) I would mainly ring people up for non fabric items and to put away unused fabric. If you are under 18 you cannot cut fabric which is a big part of what people come there for. While it was nice working there, there wasn’t much to do since people were mainly buying fabric.

I loved my job, but I tended to get customers who would outright scream at me over coupons, or some other minute issue. Other than that, the work environment was very enjoyable, not physically taxing, and productive. The management was very friendly and understandable at the store I worked in. I enjoyed the job.

coworkers were really nice and friendly. there were a lot of regulars so you feel comfortable and start to get to know everybody. the schedule was up late, concerns weren’t met, and very low on hours.
Part-time key holder / Manager on Duty in Idaho

My coworkers are great, and the schedule works around my schooling. The down side is the pay. Even as a MOD, the pay is too low to keep good employees around. District management is also slow to respond to store infrastructure needs.
Casual part time in Goldsboro, NC

Doesn't pay much but is a good part-time job for someone who loves to craft. You get to learn about crafting projects from customers, which is fun. The discount is great.
