Expect to use old, outdated software and excessive paperwork with little to no training. Old-timers believe this is the way all home health care settings are run. Many companies run much more smoothly. Mngt uses RN's to keep business going and expect many extra hours daily/weekends. Not an environment for someone with kids/adult parent responsibilities. - more ... Expected to make up time missed when taken off to bring family members to appts.Show up early and wait for staff to decide your day.This is not computerized and must be done in the office not from home. ProsLove the families, within any home healthcare company you can find this.
ConsPoor compensation, training/communication, lack of updated software, poor work/life balance, lack of mngt making any changes. Old timer will tell you, "this is how it is everywhere" NOT true.
