I have been working at JV for 2 years in total and have been in the business office so my information may not apply to all departments. There is honestly much to be desired when it comes to working here, there is next to nothing when it comes to communication and not really any structure. For example, we have to do screening (though they really should hire specific people to do it) and you have to go an hour a week, though you will mostly go at random times and a couple times I was never told when so ended up being late. There is not really a chance for advancement, I applied for multiple different positions and though being qualified, others from different departments had been chosen without any qualifications or knowing how to do that specific job (the person hired is a very close friend of a very close person to the hiring manager lol). The pay for my specific job is much below the national average and you get no chance to work from home (unless you threaten to leave!).If you are looking for those things, I recommend that you look elsewhere.

My experience with Jordan Valley was one that I value. This is a company who not only cares for the patients they serve, but for the employees that work for them. It is a team atmosphere and there is a climate of respect an acceptance that starts with the top administrators and trickles down.

Management is awful. They take advantage of you and then they lie about you. They say you are a team. But in reality it’s not. They will do what they have to, to make themselves look good to the higher ups.

Four day work weeks are nice. Lots of employee centered activities. Always changing the SOP. Lots of management changes. Very good promoting within the company.

I can easily say this is the best place I've ever worked. Between the compensation, benefits and the people it's so well rounded. I like it well enough that I'm encouraging people I know personally to apply. OH! And the Medical Assistant Program and Dental Assistant Program are awesome. They will pay you to learn how to be a MA or DA then you'll have a job lined up when you're done. That's probably the best program to be in.
