Excellent benefits (health vision dental), flexible schedule, many opportunities for trainings on diversity and overall skills. Great work/life balance.

The Walden Street School is a great place to get your foot in the door in the field. Admin will help you grow, develop and reach career goals. The work can be challenging, but the clients need us to help be successful in life post-Walden and the good days most certainly outweigh the tougher days! If you like a fast-paced, think on your feet, energetic environment, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a monotonous desk job, this is not the place for you. I have had the opportunity to meet amazing people and help some adolescents with the most challenges make great strides in their time at Walden, and that is by FAR the most rewarding part of the work! There are also lots of fun community building events, ways to support normalizing experiences for the kids and lots of opportunities to just have fun! Benefits are top notch and above many other competitors. The organization is also very big so there's lots of room to grow and try something new.

Great place to begin. There is a lot to learn and you can advance quickly. However, the advancement comes a lot from a lack of staff staying. Great benefits, toxic staff environments at times due toughness of job and clique like administrators. The clients make the job rewarding though!

Managers are/were lazy and didnt file incident reports when clients would become violent. Being a non profit they get paid per head per day, the more violent they are or harder to handle the more the company gets to have them at the program and none of that extra gets passed to the actual staff that have to deal with those particular clients one on one. And when a client is too violent, and when you voice your very valid safety concerns they are ignored flat out and you are forced to work with someone you arent comfortable with. They allow clients to target staff with no kind of redirection or even help. Id strongly suggest looking elsewhere for employment

When hired they make it seem like you won’t be mandated often and that’s so far from the truth. At one point I was one of three people on the mandate list and was getting mandated often like every three or four days. Never anytime to go to the bathroom. You don’t get breaks. You’re under paid
