K12's virtual academy in North Carolina (Did not realize K12 is for profit) - gave myself and other teachers promises of advancement during recruitment that somehow altered as new leaders were hired (outside of the state might I add) that seemed intimidated by other skilled educators (bait and switch); highly-qualified and hardworking teachers are not respected. Also, there is a lack of focus on students' overall and individual learning and tunnel vision is developed momentarily with a strong concern ONLY for the reputation of SCORES. Should this be the ONLY focus?
I dreaded going to work every day. I cried every Sunday when I thought about having to go back to work the next day.

I felt like a robot with a script on the phone all day but the environment/coworkers/supervisors and overall positive things balanced out the negative aspects of the position.
