K9 Training in Ponte Vedra, FL
on May 17, 2023
I love my colleagues and they’re the most important part of my work day but the last year has been strange with a lot of change which can be disorienting and overwhelming but things are starting to feel more stable.
Dog Trainer in Ponte Vedra, FL

Working at K9s For Warriors has been rewarding. Pairing veterans with service dogs is truly life-changing. Working as a trainer I witness the transformation of our dogs and seeing them paired with their veteran is worth all of the effort. It’s a good work environment and getting better.

Great mission, which drew me there and compelled me to stay way too long despite toxic working environment. They take decent care of the dogs, but treat the REAL workers (not the ones raking in six-figure salaries) like dog doody. However, if you’re good at sucking up to those at the top then go for it, you’ll do great.

The mission of helping veterans with service dogs is a great one to be a part of. It feels like you’re truly helping people. I found the training department to be clicky and difficult to navigate some personalities. Overall I enjoyed my job.
Development Manager in Ponte Vedra, FL

I find the new working environment welcoming, collaborative, and collegial. My colleagues across the organization are deeply passionate about the mission, truly care about one another’s success, and strive for excellence in their work. Leadership wants us to work hard and be happy. What more can you ask for?
