Old boys club mentality

If you plan on moving up in your career but don't know the owners or didn't go to school with them or their kids then go elsewhere. Have to be part of the "friends and family" group to get any consideration for growth. Very antiquated mentality and ultimately a private company that can discriminate in this regard without having to justify or have any - more... consequence. Lots of potential as a company but incompetent upper management that doesn't have a clue how to take this business to the next level. - less
