Invest in your deserving employees at a higher level! Give your deserving unlicensed medical personnel the respect they merit and allow them to advance. Stop stifling the medical assistants that work so hard to keep Kaiser and TPMG a float, and realize that just because they are not licensed does not mean they are not gifted with ability. Realize that not ALL people can afford school or can not afford to take time off of work to go to school. All deserving employees deserve the respect to be considered and not looked upon like they are just another body to fill the chairs at the desks to perform the sometimes undesirable duties of running the clinic, while all the glory is given with admiration to the nurse and/or physician. It is time that the Medical Assistants who work hard for this company be recognized outside of the general "Nurses" appreciation, as they are not nurses, and given the honor and respect they so deserve. You may find in doing so happier, healthier, more mentally stable minded and happily willing medical assistance who will lend themselves as an important part of the collective efforts that Kaiser claims to have.
