Working hours were great especially during the summer, being in high school at the time I was still able to enjoy my summer because we would work from 6AM to 3PM and that would leave the afternoon free for hanging with friends while still having a full time job.

Pay your paraprofessionals fairly. I work with a high functioning autistic student full time, some of my other fellow ParaEducators only have to assist in certain class activities for their student. I am with my student all hours of the school day, yet I am paid the least. My work load is a lot and it’s very strenuous. I am devoted to my school and my student and it would mean a lot to be compensated a little for my efforts and time.
