Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) – Sun Valley, NV – September 1, 2018
Some people are ok, most like to talk trash. Upper management is extremely toxic to anyone that isn’t in their circle. Work is always exhausting because they won’t hire more than a handful of employees at any given time even when the workload is huge. Overall I genuinely regret working here, it was taxing on my time and life.

working for keefe is psychological challenging due to extreme favoritism and poor middle and upper management.middle management so called team leaders , you as a worker deal with them the most they should never have that position they are lazy ,they never have any answers to your questions they just send you to someone else because they don't know anything .upper management is blind to all the useless people because of there favoritism to them .then you have these people walking around with no position thinking they are somebody important .you have to be very strong preson because you are on your own .
Employee (Current Employee) – St. Louis, MO – November 4, 2017
Unfortunately ownership has changed so the morale is very low across all levels. The company had merged with another provider and has increased the workload with less resources. Overall customer service has declined. There are some very good people that work here and management is going the best they can at this time to support them.
Puller/Packer and Stocker (Former Employee) – Fontana, CA 92335 – October 23, 2017
If you are looking for a decent warehouse job don't work here. There is better places to be. There is a lot of favoritism and They expect so much for the amount of pay. Management is also not the best because the only know how to keep people in check with write ups
Grand rapids commissary warehouse is THE WORST job i have ever had.
Picker/Packer sealer (Former Employee) – Grand Rapids, MI – June 15, 2017
I worked in the ware house on Kraft avenue and have never had a worse employment experience. In particular the management, supervisors, line leads, and "head honcho" do not have your best interests in mind. They feed employees tons of lies about raises, potential promotions, and bonuses to keep them working like robots only to let you down. They make promises they can't keep, and DO not know how to talk to employees or run a warehouse. When they finally came up with a bonus structure hardly any one picking on the line can reach the expected quotas while every one else in the warehouse practically gets it handed to them. I often was belittled and offended at work. So thankful to be out of that place and starting a new life with a new company.
Occasional hour lunches, a few friendly honest hard working individuals
No AC, No over time, management, disgusting work conditions, no advancement opportunity, max 50 cent raise yearly, hostile work environment
Commissary Worker (Former Employee) – Tucson, AZ – June 13, 2017
Keefe group had some amazing individuals. Primarily I was disappointed not only in the work performed, but the culture within the work place.
It pays low, correction officer can treat you poorly as a commissary employee. You have to deal with hardened criminals which is expected. There's not much room to advance nor is there a lot of support from management. You also get to witness how inmates are treated as well which at times can be negligible.
home every night, 4 days a week
low pay, poor support system, toxic work environment
Long hours, mostly labor works which put a toll on your body, not much room for advancement, management don't do anything much to improve the work place, barely any raises even if you work there for a long time, no communication among the employees.
Stocker (Former Employee) – Grand Rapids, MI – June 6, 2017
the management is horrible.yelling at people is not good.do not deliver on promises.they take advantage of you in all aspects.KEEFE SUPPLY IS A HOSILE WORK PLACE.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.
Order Picker (Former Employee) – Sparks, NV – April 29, 2017
Keefe is a slave shop.To much favoritism to employees. Management hires family and if a problem arises between you and that family member then you are let go. Seen it a few times. Constantly on your feet.
The exercize is good cause you walk 9 to 12 hours a day.....
Property Administrator (Former Employee) – Atlanta, GA – April 17, 2017
Working here was okay. You see different types of inmates here. Some can get irate. I learned a lot and seen a lot from the correctional officers. The management was, eh. That's all I can say. They pretty much look out for themselves and only care if the money is balanced at the end of a shift. The most hardest part of this job is trying to keep to yourself without getting involved with some type of drama. People here are messy. That and leaving at the end of the day.
Commisary Worker (Former Employee) – Virginia – March 8, 2017
I was terminated because I had a death in the family. I had to fly across the country take care of her estate and make sure that my widowed grandfather was ok. I couldn't make it home in the time frame they wanted. I only took a total of 10 days off and needed three more cause my son was having surgery. So if you have appointments, children, or need a day off here and there in that 90 days it is impossible. Then you only get 7 PTO days in your first year and can not take unpaid time off. I had no PTO and was not at my 90 days. Company lacks compassion. Management and Co-workers always complain, and there seems to be no silver lining. People typically have bad attitudes. Job is continuously pulling products from the back. Benefits are all right, but do not give you choice of adding dependents. Communication is awful.
Free lunch, Benefits, ect
Company, Work Environment, Corporate... Contract company so do not get state benefits.
Media Rep (Former Employee) – St. Louis, MO – March 2, 2017
Supervisor in Stlouis , at facility on Linpage was the worst , Only way she got position was from being friends with upper mgmt, they have a lot of turnovers can't keep good workers because of supervisor and mgmt.
Free meals daily and can leave on lunch, break long as you want to
Supervisors don't listen, or know what they are doing
