Other depts. may be fine, but Its the pits in the claims dept side. Most people pressured to work late on the norm to meet deadlines. Last minute manager assigned projects which force people to hustle often. Higher caseloads don't equate to increased staffing. They just pushing you to close more files while sacrificing proper claims handling. Managers appear to be work zombies and lack people skills.

Too hectic. Work life balance is seriously compromised in the school claims dept side. Short staffed. Ill trained assistants. Poor in house training on In house procedures. High turn over in clerical dept and adjusters end up picking up the slack.

The hiring process is lengthy. First you meet with the HR rep, the manager of the department you will work with and another interview with either the account executive or team players. Because most of the employees work in the field it added about three weeks to the process . You also have to take a personality test and excel test.
