This was my first job as being a dba, so I am greatful to them for hiring me without any experience. Learned a lot and worked hard to proof myself. The team lead was a great personality, very demanding but helpful.
Technical Support Representative (Former Employee) - Herndon, VA - September 12, 2019
It’s a good job for those wanting to work from home. Don’t expect to be able to slack off just because you’re in your PJs. Work pace is very fast, literally one call after the other. Standards are tough but if you have outstanding customer soft skills you will do well. If you’re not clearly above average in “giddiness” when speaking to customers they will send bad feedback which will trump every other aspect of your work no matter how well you’re doing. You need a sunshine kinda personality to work with Apple customers :D
FRONT DESK CLERK (Former Employee) - Bethesda, MD - May 20, 2019
I loved working at the military hospital. My only concern was near the end of the contract, management did not apply the same effort to all employees to find new positions. I was paid short term disability, before my contract ended, due to pregnancy.
The internal red tape associated with getting candidates paid on time is terrible, I had people get evicted because they weren't paid on time simply because the company is so large that they still faxed time cards and sometimes the payroll team would make the effort to pay on time, sometimes not
You get to work at several job locations and review different jobs to find maybe a change in your job field and basically learn new opportunities. Kelly has jobs you can select and get paid to hold a great job with a paycheck.
Contractor - HR Assistant (Former Employee) - McLean, VA - February 28, 2018
The sales environment can be fun, but if you don't have a great manager, it can make work stressful. There are opportunities for bonuses, but based on the work that a staffing supervisor does, compared to other HR professionals in other firms, the pay in my opinion is not comparable for the work being done.
My management changed several times during my tenure with Kelly Services which made the agency seem very unorganized. I would give information to one supervisor and they would not give it to the site manager where I worked resulting in a lot of confusion. They relocate your job site without speaking with you first and they did this to me two times moving me further and further away from the area I chose to work in. I would not recommend Kelly Services staffing agency to anyone.
the place i was working at for Kelly Service was really nice and I like working there it was one of the place that i wanted to work for a long time, but it was temp and i'm happy i get the chance to work there
