This past December we received a gift certificate for a honey b ham (8 lb.) only problem was i live over 100 miles one way from the nearest hbh store and i was not about to do that, they could have just given all of us employees each the money they spent on the certificate itself instead. Nice gesture but come on.

Yes sign on bonuses for most areas unless at driver capacity for the region. Location and driver need will be the determining factor and bonus is usually based on experience. Example: Klemm tank lines of the Kenan advantage group in Central Illinois has a sign on bonus of $2000 (clean driving record/tanker experince), $3000 (fuelnhauling experience, good driving record) and $5000 (fuel experience/load cards/good record) dollars.

Can't speak for the drivers, but as a mechanic I have received one pay raise in 3 years. It was put in for approval in a Feb. and didn't get all the way through the levels of management until the following Jan. and they decided to knock it down by .20/hour.

That the dispatchers play games with your equipment and when you are dispatched, the manager is a joke, hes never there when hes called upon and is to busy with his hobby being a semi-pro ufc guy that greases the fighters before entering the ring, if you have a serious issue don't call the H.R. department cause they will not resolve anything and totally ignore the issue with the yard manager, and the pay isn't good for what boys you have to work with.
