Been the best experience ever. Learned a lot and got the best exposure in that I can work anywhere in the world under pressure or not. I learned how to work with different types of people and respect their positions.

KENGEN is a company were everyday brought in a new challenge for the employees to solve. The best thing I learned that there was a strong bond of coordination between different department all with one goal. All employees had to take part as a team and they all considered themselves as a family even in work and outside the work environment. The best part of the work was that by the end of it I had learned so much not only in my department but also in other departments as well.

My employer is a great company and it is only the employer i have worked with on permanent terms since i was employed after college. My experience in work has been fantastic, i enjoy working and sometimes work beyond expectation and outside time frames to complete assigned duties if constrained. I come to learn that team work is very important and managing a team has been the interesting part of my working life. I regularly work to make sure management targets are made. Workplace culture is a big element of achievement target and can either be positive or negative, therefore it is upon the supervisor to tune the culture to reflect good performance. the hardest part of the Job is to be given assignment to supervise workers to complete a task but they see you as pushing and pressing them so much because you want to meet management targets. Te most enjoyable part of my Job is achieving performance targets set by management.

KenGen is a good company, employees work for a long time till retirements most of the time, but bureaucracy is high, decision making is from top most of the time. Working environment is good. Employees get paid leaves -30 days per year
Per diems/medical benefits/
No growth/no promotions/decision making is from top mostly
there are 8 hours of work in a day, learn t how power is generated by use of water and there is a proper management with cooperative co-workers.
arely was there too much to handle each day learnt to be independent probably one of the few best managements despite the professionalism,we also had a personal relationship with most of my co-workers hardest part was to stay idle as i wasnt used to i enjoyaed the fact that the management gave me an opportunity to make my own decisions
they upheld independence at work
the minimal supervision atimes resulted to inefficiency
